So, I've now signed up for Sweet Charity (sweet-charity.net). I will be offering one monotone acrylic portrait, at least 10x14, on canvas. The subject, of course, is the bidder's choice, as long as it's a portrait and has a photoreference. Whoever bids on it gets the piece delivered to them via mail - an original, one-of-a-kind portrait of their choice, and all the proceeds go to the Rape, Abuse, Incest and Neglect Support Network, which I can guarantee is a very worthy cause.

So! For those of you who'd love an original portrait in your house, and who have the extra money you'd like to send to charity, this is a great way to do it. I'd appreciate any bids on my stuff, too.

I shall be desperately trying to find a way to take pictures of my new way-too-big-to-be-on-the-scanner paintings and charcoal portraits.

Yes, I am alive. Yes, I am lazy. No, I haven't done much/anything in the way of good art recently, or fanfiction. I'm very sorry, but I think everything I owed people on here by promise, like HLS, will have to be dropped, if anyone even remembers that one. It's been dormant more than a year now, I think.

Jeez, was DA always this full of ads? Seems every page I click I get a page-large ad bugging me to subscribe. DA, this is annoying.

I got into Livejournal RPing about a year ago and that is an utter addiction. Somehow over the year I ended up with a paranoid schizophrenic Black Tom, a soon-to-be-a-father Juggernaut (Rogue's kid, for the record), a romancephobic Boom Boom, Ratatouille Strychnine from the Tori Amos song, Punchy and Mr. Sinister, now a lab rat.

Other than my musical tastes and utter lack of inspiration, though, I haven't changed, guys. Gotten a bit flakier and a bit more easy-going, thank God. That's all.

Canada. I was very unhappy with it. My mother was absolutely nuts and I was too young to understand why I hated it there, but I did.

Moving to the United States, waiting for my father to pass immigration laws for six months and playing on the single monkeybar we had at my school.

Finally making friends at school besides Kita. Joining DA. I also went to Europe, where in France I encountered two of my addictions - coffee and Sister Hazel. Both persist to this day.
